Rockland, ME – October 7, 2024 – Trekkers is thrilled to announce the appointment of Stephanie Welch as its new Executive Director. She assumed the role on September 30 and succeeds Kate Elmes, who served as Interim Executive Director since May 2024 and resumes a role as Deputy Director at Trekkers.
Stephanie’s career began in public health, with a focus on community engagement and health equity. She has a proven track record of leadership, having served as President of Great Schools Partnership, a non-profit that supported youth success from birth through graduation in Knox County, Tennessee.
