Artist Bio

Rockland native, Angela Anderson, is a UNH grad with a BFA in painting. Her studio and gallery are in Port Clyde. Angela is married to a lobster fisherman and they spend their winters in Florida where Angela exhibits and teaches. She is now also instructing online.

Creative Process

“Having a sailor on our state flag, in our 200th year in Maine, inspired “Dare I go”. Dirigo, or I Lead, I Direct, is a fortunate foundation in life. I’m grateful for the state of Maine and want to celebrate its 200th.”
