We are pleased to announce an exciting new local partnership with a chocolate confectionery company, Bixby & Co., based in Rockland. Students will be selling Bixby confections through a student catalog fundraiser. For every item sold, students will receive a credit toward their annual dues.
All orders from the catalog need to be submitted to the Trekkers office by Friday, January 18.
Bixby & Co. is a family owned and operated chocolate confectionery company located on the working waterfront of Rockland, Maine. Founded by Kate & Donna McAleer, a mother-daughter team in late 2011, Bixby & Co. crafts organic and natural chocolate confectionery products. In 2017, Bixby & Co. became the first Bean to Bar or craft chocolate maker in the State of Maine, with its factory located at the intersection of Tillson Avenue and Sea Street Place in Rockland.
This is a great opportunity to purchase delicious snack bars, drinking chocolate, caramels, chocolate bars, cacao nibs, puffin pops, snacking clusters, peanut butter bites and more… while supporting a Trekkers student. The items are fairly priced and students will make an excellent percentage towards their program dues on every product sold. This fundraiser provides an easy, self-directed opportunity for students and their families to fundraise without the hassle of volunteering, baking or even showing up for an event! The items range in price from $1.99 to $30.
If you would like to purchase items for this fundraiser, please reach out to a Trekkers student or family member or call the Trekkers office at 207-594-5095. All orders from the catalog need to be submitted to the Trekkers office by Friday, January 18. Students will be able to pick up their fulfilled orders starting on February 4, 2019 – just in time for Valentine’s Day delivery! Catalogs are available at the Trekkers office, which is open from 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday, located at 58 Park Street, Suite 202 in Rockland.
